Mastkhel is a clan of Hindwal-Romal subtribe of the Tanoli Tribe primarily residing in the Hamsherian and Gandhian (village) villages of district Mansehra. The clan is named after their ancesstor, Khan Mast Khan who was the younger brother of Mir Haibat Khan,〔Syed Murad Ali,"Tarikh-e-Tanawaliyan"(Urdu), Pub.
